Edward Michael Miller

"Big Ed" Miller passed away on Feb 14, 2011 after an extended illness. Those who attended the 2009 Indy reunion enjoyed Ed's company and he appreciated seeing the old boys for the first time since the Vietnam days. Ed was enroute to the 2010 Indy reunion and felt poorly and had to return home. Turns out he suffered a stroke and probably was not well since that time.

I talked with Ed at the 2009 reunion. I saw a very pleasant, modest, and hard-working man as he had been back in 1970. I feel lucky to have renewed an acquaintenance with him at that time (Bill Higgins).
